Artist Statement

My tapestry weavings are always looking for the big picture. My latest tapestries are about the salt marshes in NC which have the most fertile and diverse nature living in what was, until very recently considered a barren and hostile landscape. In fact, the salt marshes help prevent erosion and stabilize climate change as well as being incredibly beautiful environments.
